LYRIC

Rákhál rájá re, rákhál rájá re;
Káke Tumi sájáo phule,
Bájáo vánshii kár tare.

Aharnishi Tomár hási vyatháy pralep dey je ási’
Ná dekhiyáo Bhalabási
Tomáy maner mukure.

Anantakál Tumi ácho,
Man-Yamunáy mátiyecho;
Srsti-sthiti-laye náco
Kálakáler váhire.

O king of cowherds!
Whom do You decorate with flowers?
For whom do You play Your flute?

Day and night,
Your flute soothes my pain;
Though I haven’t seen You,
I love You in the mirror of my mind.

You have been existing for eternity,
You have inebriated the river Yamuna of my mind,
You dance eternally in creation, preservation and destruction
Beyond the horizons of time and timelessness.
